1.          Prayer

5.          Waterbury short term mission

B.          Flora will contact Steve Seaberry at BGCT regarding sponsorship.

C.          5/3 Brother Jason will provide the mission training VBS materials.

 

6.          Baylor Univ. scholarship:

Ø   Baylor has a system if the church donates to the child’s scholarship, they will match equal amount up to $1,000/student/year. The deacon board approved this proposal. Pastor Wang and Flora will investigate further details to make sure it’s legal and ethical.

7.          5/10 Mother’s day flowers

D.         Flora will ask Pearl Lee to buy 50 carnations for moms.

 

8.          Youth ministry

A.          Pastoral meeting will e-mail to Pastor Don and let him know that Brother Jason will prepare 5 days VBS training material by 5/3 the latest.  Pastor Paul asked Pastor Don to help to choose 5 days VBS training materials (Pastor Don will contact Jason).

9.          Reminder:             

A.          5/3 Sunday Pastor Wang will remind brothers & sisters regarding mission pledge.

B.          5/3 Brother Jason will give reply to Pastor Wang if he has calling from God to be   considered for the Youth Minister position.

C.          5/11-19 Pastor Paul will go to Kyrgyzstan & Norway for short term mission.

D.         5/17 Sunday Rev. Stephen Hsieh謝建邦牧師will preach at Chinese worship.

E.          Joint retreat Cabin Rent $2500 and cleaning deposit of $400 (Total $2900) will be mailed to Sharon Baptist Church on 7/30/09..

E.          Joint Retreat Cabin Rent: $3498.00 will be mailed on 8/20/09 to First Southern Baptist Church.

F.           5/9/2010 Sunday:  8 DFW Chinese Baptist Churches will have a joint outreach
