1.          Baylor scholarship application procedure: :

Ø   Mail check (scholarship for Baylor student from CCC) & form(http://www.baylor.edu/content/services/document.php?id=20696)

Ø   Mailing address: Baylor University, Office of Academic Scholarships and Financial Aid.  One Bear Place #97028, Waco, TX 76798.

Ø   Deadline: mid-June for Fall semester.

Ø   Contact person: Jerry-financial aid counselor 254-710-8924

Ø   Today Pastor Wang called financial aid counselor .Jerry at Baylor Univ. for the application procedure.

Ø   Pastor Wang e-mailed the application form to Brother Albert for reference.

Ø   Pastor Wang does not have $1000 by mid-June to sponsor his daughter.  He asks Deacon Board to consider the scholarship sponsorship according to the Deacon Board meeting Minutes dated 4/19/09 Item #VIX:

u  CCC will not use borrowing money from church as way to help with pastor’s financial needs.

u  We will discuss Pastor Wang’s special financial needs case by case.

2.          5/9/2010 Joint Chinese Baptist Churches Mother’s Day outreach

Ø   Speaker:遠志明弟兄.  Details will be discussed on 6/2/09 Joint Retreat Co-workers’ meeting.

Ø   Invite Deacon Board to pray for the outreach and the budget of next year.
