感恩與代禱

1.為教會40天禁食禱告的預備及參與禱告！求神賜下認罪、傷痛、悔改與潔淨的靈，讓教會弟兄姊妹與耶穌基督同感一靈，同心合意，興旺福音！

2.為參與教會禁食的弟兄姊妹禱告：求神賜力量、給能力、降應許、帶方向、有恩典、增信心、親醫治、同行走、得安慰！

3.請切切為Fozy弟兄於上週四做腿部靜脈手術後的康復禱告。懇求神大能的手覆庇Fozy弟兄，願神的恩惠、平安與他同在，並求神賜下安慰給Chris姊妹，保守她在主裏的信心。

4.請大家為顧伯伯的大腿神經痛禱告。求神的醫治、憐憫臨到他。

5.請繼續為王穎姊妹化療的過程與恢復感恩與交託，願主恩夠用。

6.為福音朋友劉珊珊及其母親施美婉禱告。求神滿足施美婉朋友學英文的需要，並賜下豐厚的恩典。

7.為主日來到與我們一同敬拜神的兩位慕道友，江瀾與王年凱(Georg Wang)禱告。願神的愛臨到他們的生命，救恩不離他們的左右。

8.請為羅春姐妹的父母11/4申請來美簽證禱告，求神掌管，並賜下救恩的機會。

9.請為明年青少年短宣的準備和計畫禱告。求神興起青少年和成人合一、愛主的心，接近失落的人。

 

報告事項

1.教會嘗試午餐由弟兄姊妹分擔，並將循序漸進、按部就班。目前有感動在這方面服事的有王師母(每月第一週)、李國萍姊妹(每月第二週)、福音班會(第五週)料理。願神厚報恩待，賜福加力。請有感動參與並擔當主日午餐服事的弟兄姊妹，請與王師母聯絡。

2.11/16主日午餐時間，教會將為景杰姊妹和Jeff舉行嬰兒慶祝會(baby shower)。因Jeff和景杰已為男嬰準備好所需物品，教會將贈送禮金。想參與的弟兄姊妹請將禮金交給竹瑛姊妹。

3.執事選舉則在十一月九日舉行： https://carrolltonchinesechurch.wordpress.com/about/deacon-nomination-for-2009/提名者與被提名者均必須是本教會會友。執事提名委員會委員：王保羅牧師（主席），周竹瑛執事，謝志勇弟兄，彭惠強執事，盧健健姊妹。

4.執事選舉時間表：(10/19-22 執選會禱告評估)

•10/22-26 執選會探訪候選人

•10/26 向會眾公開候選人名單並禱告兩週

•11/9 投票

•11/16 向會眾公開當選人名單

5.11/22週六晚6:00pm 感恩節特別聚會：請邀請朋友來參加，各家帶一道菜，共享主恩。鼓勵弟兄姊妹上台為主作見證，有感動的弟兄姊妹請和方中姊妹連絡。有感動參與清潔的弟兄姊妹請和惠強弟兄連絡。

6.12/13週六晚6:00pm聖誕特別聚會：請邀請朋友來參加，各家帶一道菜，共同歡慶主耶穌的日子。有感動參與清潔的弟兄姊妹請和健健姊妹連絡。

7. 12/19 週五晚團契時間舉行策略會議(中英文聯合)，歡迎弟兄姊妹踴躍參加，屆時將有各部門的報告，分享明年的異象、方向與計劃。

 

  

Prayer Request

1.Let’s pray for  preparing and participating 40 days fasting of CCC! May God give us the Holy Spirit to help us confess, repent, & clean us. May God  grant brothers &sisters with one Spirit & one Heart to revive Gospel. May God grant His strength, power, promise, comfort, direction, mercy, faith & healing to them.

2.Please  pray for Fozy’s recovery from  surgery & that God will heal the circulation in his leg.  May God relieve the pain and pour out His grace, peace on both Fozy & Chris.

3.Please pray for Mr. Gu’s nerve pain on the thigh.  May God’s mercy & healing be with him.

4.Praise God for Ying Wang’s 3nd chemo therapy last Thursday.

5.Please pray for gospel friends Liu, Shan Shan and her mother Shih, Mei Wan.  May God fulfill Mrs. Shih’s friend’s need in learning English. 

6.Please pray for the 2 new comers from Sunday: Jiang, Lan & George Wang.  May God’s love touch their life &may His salvation be with them.

7.Please pray for sister Kelly Lo’s parents applying for visa to the U.S.  May God look over it and grant the opportunity for their salvation.

8.Please pray for the planning and preparation for next year’s youth mission trip. May God raise up youth and adults with a unified passion to reach the lost with the Love of Christ.

Announcement

1.Please contact Pastor Don if you are interested in joining a guy or girls small group. Currently, the guys small groups will meet Friday 6:30-7:15pm and the girls small group meets Sunday 12:45-1:45pm

2. Deacon vote is on 11/9.http://carrolltonchinesechurch.wordpress.com/ about/deacon-nomination-for-2009/ Deacon nominator & nominee have to be CCC church member.  Deacon Nomination Committees are Pastor Wang (president), Deacon Cerina Chou, Brother John Xie, Deacon Albert Pang, Sister Jian Lu. Deacon nomination schedule:

• 10/19-22 Deacon Nomination Committee evaluate Candidates

•Between Oct. 22-26 Committee visit and confirm candidates

•10/26 Present Deacon Candidates names to congregation for  2 wks prayerful consideration

•11/9 Deacon Vote

•11/16Present deacon vote result  to congregation and pray for them

3.11/22 Sat. 6:00pm Thanksgiving  pot luck Outreach: Please invite friends to come. We invite you to prepare your testimony & forward it to Sister Flora and those willing to help with cleaning please contact Bro. Albert. 11/21 Fri. canceled.

4.12/13 Sat. 6:00pm Christmas pot luck Outreach: Please invite friends to come & those willing to help with cleaning please contact Sister Jian. 12/12 Fri canceled.

5.12/19 Friday night joint strategic meeting : Each department will have report regarding next year’s vision, direction and plan. Brothers & sisters are encouraged  to join.
