IV.        將崇拜大堂和辦公室的桌子丟掉，將辦公室的兩個文件櫃搬到大堂。To throw away the desks in the sanctuary and office.  To move the 2 file cabinets to the sanctuary.

V.          目的是整理出整潔的辦公室與合適的輔導室。The goal is to organize a clean classroom & an appropriate counseling room.

2/1/2009牧者心聲

      2009年好像比往年要過得快，時間像是裝了火箭，一下子就飛到太空。顯然，在空中與主相遇的時間也越來越快了。那麼，今年有什麼是最快上我心的呢？首先是教會的兒童、青少年事工。雷鴻弟兄有一天分享，說教會中信主的比例最高的是兒童，好像是百份之十三。我聽了之後久久不能平靜。

      1/29去角聲開會，鄒日中弟兄與我分享恩友堂發展的過程，其中最早期的重點就是抓兒童事工。然後家長是因孩子的緣故而願意留下來，慢慢受造就，成為教會的骨幹。

      想想我們自己的教會呢？這些年來，投入少、參與不多、重視也不夠。這是我要在神面前認罪的。求神賜下憐憫，幫助我這個軟弱的僕人。

      感謝主！今年感動竹瑛姊妹願意參與負起兒童部的事工。但單靠她一個人是孤掌難鳴的，需要大家的踴躍參與。為此，我在此向大家發出邀請或挑戰，來到神面前來禱告。願神賜給你一顆金子般的心，積極投身到兒童事工中來。知道嗎？這可是投資永恆的千秋萬世的大業。

      我為參與兒童部事工的老師們的禱告是：

      第一、有從神而來的呼召。就是要禱告神，抓住神的應許，好讓我們可以用心服事、用靈擺上、全人委身。

      第二、有謙卑好學的態度。這一點很重要！別以為現在的小孩子是不懂事的。事實上教學相長是作老師的秘訣。

    第三、有堅忍持久的心志。所謂十年樹木、百年樹人。什麼意思呢？就是你今天做在孩子們身上的，可能要百年之後在真正見到果效。請問誰才能在百年後收取果子？當然是神！這是不言而喻的。

      第四、有愛人如己的心腸。什麼意思呢？就是要在心底裏將來教會的孩子當作是自己的孩子來愛、管教、禱告、與其父母溝通。你的愛神會見到，孩子們及家長也會知道。千萬別「怕」孩子，更別介意去「告狀」！

      第五、有認真備課的品格。我用品格來描述對備課的要求，是因為上帝十分看中我們的忠心。我們有沒有備課孩子們是知道的！他們會用安靜與吵鬧來表達他們的心聲。當然，並不是所有的吵鬧都是因為備課的好壞多寡而產生的。但的確通常好的備課會帶來良好的客堂秩序。

      第六、有願意更新的意願。因為時代在變，孩子在變，當然我們也要改變。

      第七、有良好溝通的習慣。我指的是全方位的溝通，包括與孩子、家長、老師間、牧師等。

      親愛的弟兄姊妹，我相信，當孩子們一來到我們教會就想到下次還要再來的時候，就是我們教會「不再一樣」的開始了！你相信嗎？

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for letting me be busy doing work this week. I realize that work is a gift from You. Part of the fallen nature is we will despise the work we do. Yet, during these tough times no one complains about their work. How we can take work  for granted! Thank You that I’m learning an important lesson in life through this layoff. I need to treasure my work and career, for this is the avenue to be a blessing for others. I do hope You may allow me to do more ministry in the future and that my training will be useful for Your kingdom. But I will wait for Your time. Everything happens according to Your time. Thank You for all that You have in store for me in Christ. May I continue to let love, joy, and faith fill my life.  In Christ’s name, Mike.

1.          Prayer

2.          BGCT Short Term Mission Trip (the week of July 19-24)

Pastor Don has contacted Dr. Tyson regarding the details of the trip as presented to the staff and strategic meeting. The staff needs to discuss the next steps.

Pastor Don suggests the following steps:

1-      Confirming the leaders. Jan 09: waiting to hear from leaders.

2-      Visiting the site and confirming logistics. Jan 09:

3-      Lodging: Stay in Southbury Baptist Church, boys & girls stay in separate rooms.  They have a full kitchen for mission team to use.  One shower in the church to use. Mission team needs to clean the facilities each day.

4-      Confirm teaching materials Feb 09

5-      Confirm youth participants, by Missions conference. March 09

6-      Training for camp. April-May Sundays

7-      CCC VBS Camp June or July 09

8-      Mission Trip July 19-24

9-      Update budget for mission trip:

Updated youth mission budget     $8380 

Plus: Summer VBS material         $1460   (Pastoral meeting suggests to add this item in youth mission budget)

Total updated youth mission budget   $9840

 

3.          Reimbursement for Pastor Don’s trip to Waterbury, Connecticut

A.          BGCT asked Pastor Don to send receipts to BGCT, then BGCT will mail reimbursement check to CCC, and CCC will issue a check to Pastor Don.

 

4.          Reminder:

l   2/8/09 Pastor Wang will preach at Ft Worth CBC.  Pastor Fu 付國朝牧師will preach at CCC

l   2/17 Tuesday 11:00-2:00pm Joint retreat Camp site visit at Falls Creek

題目： 耶穌如和從傳揚者(proclaimer)變成被傳揚者(proclaimed)？這與早期教會/門徒對他新的認識有何關係？ (請從耶穌的稱呼/頭銜的角度：基督/彌賽亞、主、神子、人子四方面來回答)

 

Ø   基督/彌賽亞：耶穌不自稱彌賽亞，祂宣告自己應驗舊約彌賽亞的預言，也不否認自己是彌賽亞；基督復活後，初代教會就以〝基督/彌賽亞〞來稱呼、傳揚耶穌。

Ø   主：耶穌在世時，用〝父〞、〝主人〞向人比喻祂自己，耶穌復活之後，使徒行傳和書信中，就經常出現「主」、「主耶穌」、「主耶穌基督」、「我主耶穌基督」。

Ø   神子：從耶穌受洗事件、受撒旦試探、污鬼事件和耶穌的自我意識等，說明耶穌本來就是神的兒子的身份；耶穌復活之後，教會就不受限制的使用「神的兒子」來表達耶穌崇高的地位。

Ø   人子：馬可福音中，當彼得認耶穌是基督，是耶穌向門徒表露自己是〝人子〞的轉捩點，表明自己先是受苦、受死的人子，末後再進入榮耀的人子。只有在耶穌復活之後，人們才明白過來、並傳揚耶穌是榮耀的人子。

總結：耶穌從傳揚者變成被傳揚者的轉捩點在於祂的復活，人們因著耶穌的復活而明白到祂是基督/彌賽亞、主、神子、人子的身份。

I.  耶穌如何從傳揚者（proclaimer）變成被傳揚者(proclaimed)?這與早期教會/門徒對祂新的認識有何關係？請從耶穌的稱呼/頭銜的角度來回答。（基督/彌賽亞、主、神子、人子四方面來看）

耶穌開始傳道時，傳的是「天國近了，你們應當悔改！」（馬太福音 4:17），並向人傳講天國的道理。而非宣講自己是誰。因為當時的猶太人和門徒並不明白耶穌基督是誰，更不明白彌賽亞的使命和涵義。因此耶穌向門徒重新詮釋不一樣的「彌賽亞」的觀念，也注入受苦的人子的涵意。基督復活之後，祂完成了天父的旨意/使命（十架受苦的道路），教會和門徒才明白「神的兒子」，耶穌基督就是福音的起頭。（馬可1:1）初代教會就不再顧忌的以「基督」/「彌賽亞」稱呼，使徒行傳和書信中經常出現「主」、「主耶穌」、「主耶穌基督」、「我主耶穌基督」,向世人宣講這位耶穌就是基督/彌賽亞，就是神，是人生命的主人,祂是救我出黑暗進光明的救主，並且這位受苦作僕人的人子，有一天要榮耀的降臨審判活人死人。

 

註解：對四個名稱觀念的改變 (節自神學精華講義)

1.  基督/彌賽亞

因為舊約的應許，耶穌時代猶太人所盼望的是政治性的彌賽亞 –要統治以色列，並且使仇敵服在他的腳下。所以祂不自稱是基督/彌賽亞，因為耶穌來不是要做猶太人政治性的彌賽亞，統治以色列，如果耶穌自稱是基督/彌賽亞，當時是在羅馬人統治之下，必將引起暴亂。在門徒彼得宣稱耶穌為基督後，耶穌開始向他們說人子基督的使命，放進了受苦人子的觀念。而基督/彌賽亞這個專有名稱，正描述了祂的使命和祂做了什麼。基督復活後，門徒想起耶穌從前對他們所說的話。

     ２． 「主」

「主」有先生、老師的意思。但希伯來文的「主」(Adonai)就是猶太人稱的「神」。在耶穌復活後，使徒行傳和書信中就經常出現「主」、「主耶穌」、「主耶穌基督」、「我主耶穌基督」就是指耶穌基督是神。

３． 神子（上帝的兒子）

耶穌基督受洗之後，有聲音從天而來「你是我的愛子，我喜悅你」（可1:11），指的是－耶穌在受洗時被神揀選/接納，成為彌賽亞；亦即耶穌之所以會是神的兒子，是因在受洗時神揀選他成為彌賽亞。神揀選他的兒子，委任他彌賽亞君王的職任；他是神喜悅與揀選的承受者。這個兒子的名份和以色列（被撿選的民族），以及我們這些因耶穌基督得兒子名份的不同，祂乃是獨一的，先存的。彌賽亞是大衛的後裔沒錯，但不只如此；彌賽亞必定也是神的兒子，並因此身份而為大衛的主。

４．人子

耶穌稱自己為人子,含有隱藏的意思,因為他的使命和當時的瞭解完全不同， 祂不願眾人和門徒只認祂是地上的君王/彌賽亞。 他自稱人子，不但暗示彌賽亞的榮耀與威嚴, 也為彌賽亞的職事與職分注入嶄新的意義，並暗示祂自己超自然的本質與來源。 包括祂是完完全全的人,道成肉身, 在地上服事的人子, 受苦的人子、僕人,也是末世榮耀的人子，要審判這個世界。 祂是 天上來的人子，但又是地上的君王/彌賽亞；是卑微的僕人/人子，但同時又是宇宙的審判者。 人子不只是天上的、先存的存有,他也在軟弱和卑微中顯現，是眾人當中的一個,為要成就受苦和受死的定命,換句話說，耶穌把受苦僕人的內涵注入人子觀念之中。

感恩與代禱

1.請弟兄姊妹為教會去年的財政狀況感恩與禱告。願神打開弟兄姊妹屬靈的眼睛，看見奉獻金錢的祝福，及因甘心樂意奉獻而帶來的恩典。讓信心取代懼怕，前進代替後退，蒙神恩沛然。

2.請為今年開始的財政管理體制禱告。願神幫助教會領袖以僕人的心態來管理神的家，並且以擴展神國度為管家忠心交帳的標準，得以坦然見主面。深信神必以祂豐盛的恩典供應神的家。

3.請弟兄姊妹迫切為徐珊珊姊妹得乳癌第一期禱告。她目前在台灣，腫瘤化驗確定淋巴沒有癌細胞，求神剛強珊珊姊妹在主裏的信靠，並求神賜下前面治療的方向。

4.請為漢齡姊妹父親的健康禱告。懇求主看顧漢齡的父親的肺功能及全人的健康，賜他足夠的恩典；也求主賜安慰給漢齡的母親，讓她能在信心中倚靠主。

5.請為漢齡姊妹的身體禱告。求神賜醫生智慧檢查出胃疼的病因，求主保守漢齡姊妹的身體得醫治。

9.感謝神保守寧牧師平安從短宣地點回來。求神繼續看顧短宣的一切籌備過程。

10.請為寧牧師的母親的健康禱告。求神賜醫生智慧找出病因及治療的方向。

Prayer Request

1.Please pray and be thankful for last year’s church financials.  May brothers & sisters open their spiritual eyes to see the blessing of money offering and the mercy from willingness heart to offer.  May God’s mercy be with us when we allow our faith to replace the fear, and go forward instead of fall back.

2.Please pray for this year’s church financial system. May God help church leaders manage His house as God’s servants. May they faithfully give account to God with the standard of  “enlarging God’s kingdom”. We trust that God will provide His house with His abundant mercy.

3.Please pray for sister Danielle Shih’s 1st stage breast cancer.  She is now in Taiwan. The test result shows that the lymph nodes were not affected.  May God strengthen Danielle’s faith in Him.  May God also grant His guidance for  further treatment.

4.Please pray for Sister Linda Lei’s father’s health.  May God look over his lung function &whole body’s health. May God also comfort Linda’s mother &strengthen her faith in Him.

5.Please pray for sister Linda Lei’s health.  May God grant wisdom to the doctor to find out the cause of stomach pain.  May God grant healing to her body.

6.Please pray for Brother Charles Lee’s job searching & direction.  May God prepare his family’s direction.  May God’s mercy be with them.

7.Please ask for God to raise up coworkers for the youth ministries programs, events, & small groups.

8.Please pray for Sister Kelly’s upcoming abdominal CT scan.  May God look over her and strengthen her faith in Him.

9.Please continue to pray for Sister Ying Wang’s recovery from chemo therapy.  May God look over her water retention situation and grant her strength at work.

10.Thank Lord for bringing Pastor Don’s safe returning from youth short term mission at Waterbury, Connecticut.  May God continue to look over the mission trip preparation.

11.Please pray for Pastor Don’s mother’s health.  May God find out the cause & method of cure.  May God strengthen her faith in Him.

12.Please pray for sister Flora’s semi-yearly infusion treatment at UTSW this Thursday.  May God’s mercy & blessing be with her.

Prayer Request

1.Please pray and be thankful for last year’s church financials.  May brothers & sisters open their spiritual eyes to see the blessing of money offering and the mercy from willingness heart to offer.  May God’s mercy be with us when we allow our faith to replace the fear, and go forward instead of fall back.

2.Please pray for this year’s church financial system. May God help church leaders manage His house as God’s servants. May they faithfully give account to God with the standard of  “enlarging God’s kingdom”. We trust that God will provide His house with His abundant mercy.

3.Please pray for sister Danielle Shih’s 1st stage breast cancer.  She is now in Taiwan. The test result shows that the lymph nodes were not affected.  May God strengthen Danielle’s faith in Him.  May God also grant His guidance for  further treatment.

4.Please pray for Sister Linda Lei’s father’s health.  May God look over his lung function &whole body’s health. May God also comfort Linda’s mother &strengthen her faith in Him.

5.Please pray for Brother Charles Lee’s job searching & direction.  May God prepare his family’s direction.  May God’s mercy be with them.

6.Please ask for God to raise up coworkers for the youth ministries programs, events, & small groups.

7.Please pray for Pastor Don’s safe trip 1/18-21 to Waterbury to confirm the details for this summer’s mission trip. May God raise up youth and adults with a unified passion to reach the lost with the Love of Christ.

2.Today after worship: a) 2009 General fund budget report is held.  B) General fund budget vote will be held on 1/25. c)New deacons assume office ceremony. D) introduce serving area for each deacon.

感恩與代禱

1.請弟兄姊妹為教會去年的財政狀況感恩與禱告。願神打開弟兄姊妹屬靈的眼睛，看見奉獻金錢的祝福，及因甘心樂意奉獻而帶來的恩典。讓信心取代懼怕，前進代替後退，蒙神恩沛然。

2.請為今年開始的財政管理體制禱告。願神幫助教會領袖以僕人的心態來管理神的家，並且以擴展神國度為管家忠心交帳的標準，得以坦然見主面。深信神必以祂豐盛的恩典供應神的家。

3.請弟兄姊妹迫切為徐珊珊姊妹禱告。她目前在台灣剛做完乳房腫瘤切除手術，經醫生證實為乳癌。求神剛強珊珊姊妹在主裏的信靠，並求神賜下前面治療的方向。

4.請繼續為王穎姊妹已經完成六次化療的恢復禱告，求神保守王潁姊妹血球量的恢復、心跳的頻率及飲食上的調適，願主恩夠用！

5.請在代禱中繼續為正在恢復中的福仕(Fozy)弟兄代禱，惟願主恩常在！

6.請繼續為傑夫與景杰的新生嬰孩代禱。求神賜給他們足夠的恩典。

7.請為雷鴻弟兄的工作禱告，我們相信神必預備雷鴻弟兄前面的方向，請弟兄姊妹用禱告彼此相連，見證神的大愛。

8.為黃伯伯、黃媽媽的身體恢復感恩，求神繼續看顧保守。

9.請為家俊一家的生活、工作與前面的道路禱告。求神預備他們一家前面的道路，願神的恩典與憐憫與他們同在。

10.請為雲皓、曉瑜一家平安從加拿大回來禱告。求主繼續保守看顧並賜福他們一家，在基督裡蒙恩。

1.2008年12月份財務報告：經常費總收入$12,803, 支出 $13,978 虧損$ 1,175, 一至十二月總收入$128,636 總支出$158,015 總虧損$29,379; 2008年四至十二月差傳總奉獻$40,294  總支出$41,207虧損$913.

2.   教會午餐目前有「謝蘇餐廳」 (第一週)、國萍菜館(第二週)、「楊顧飯店」(第三週)，師母食堂(第四週)，福音快餐 (第五週)。願神厚報恩待，賜福加力。請繼續有感動參與及配合主日午餐服事的弟兄姊妹，請與盧健健姊妹聯絡。

3.  一月起，女孩青少年門徒訓練將於每週主日下午12:50-1:50，男孩青少年於週五晚6:30pm由寧牧師帶領，欲參加者請和寧牧師連絡。

4.  一月起，教會將嘗於每週主日午餐後，試開辦一個數學補習班，由楊老師執教。願者請與楊老師或方中姊妹聯絡。

5.1/23 週五晚團契取消。

6.1/24  週六6:00pm中國新年晚會：請每家帶一道菜，也請弟兄姊妹邀請朋友來參加，共享主恩。當晚有抽獎活動，因環保的緣故，鼓勵弟兄姊妹將自己家中多出來的、可用的物品，包裝好，於當晚帶來作為抽獎。歡迎弟兄姊妹按自己的情況，奉獻禮物。若沒有禮物，沒有關係，就將自己帶著禱告的心，來參加當晚的聚會，以此作為獻給神的新年禮物。

3.Please pray for sister Danielle Shih.  She is now in Taiwan and just finished the surgery to remove tumors in her breast.  Doctor confirmed the rest result is cancer.  May God strengthen Danielle’s faith in Him.  May God also grant His guidance for  further treatment.

4.Please pray for Brother Mike Lei’s job searching.  We trust that God will prepare the direction for Brother Mike.  Please pray for our brother to testify God’s love among us.

5.Please  give thanks to the Lord for Mr. & Mrs. Huang’s health recovery.  May God continue to look over them.

6.Please pray for Brother Charles Lee’s job searching & direction.  May God prepare his family’s direction.  May God’s mercy be with them.

7.Please continue to pray for Ying Wang’s recovery after the 6 chemo therapies.  May God look after her blood count, heart beat & meal adjustment.  May God’s mercy be with her.

12.Please pray for Jassie & Annie Chao’s family who returned from Canada.  May God continue to look over & blessing their life in Him.
